apple pie!!
today i attempted making apple pie for the first time on my own :) i had done it once before with my dad's help and instruction, but this was my maiden try without his expert advice (and someone to save the day if it went wrong) and i'm happy to report that it tastes good!! hehehe...
diana teased me by asking "is ur house-wifey side kicking in?" :P however, i must say - the feeling of being able to satisfy people and seeing them tuck in their food with glee gives me great pleasure, even if it does take quite a bit of work to make the pie...
i took leave from wed this week - my dad was in town, so i got to spend some time wid him yesterday and took the chance to get the recipe for apple pie off him. my dad's a great cook, so let's see if i can follow his footsteps in time to come ;)

Keep up the good work! So when is banana pie? apple & banana pie? bluebarry pie? Heheheh....do call me the next time when you make it, i want to learn!
haha :D i'm a very predictable person, i like to do the same thing over and over. i think i'll stick to making apple pies until i get sick of eating it. sure, wil call u over if u happen to be free then :)
sob sob...i pre-booked a slice and what did i get? just news that you made the pie! :p next round u make, u have to give me TWO - must charge interest mar! akakaka...
ev: i'm so sorry dear! i felt really guilty that there wasn't enuf to go around :( and din hv time to make another one so soon...but i promise u'll get the slices when i make it next! hehe
